July 7th 2017. We have long anticipated this day. The day where our puppy is no longer a puppy.
Now I am not saying that we have long-since cursed ourselves for not having an unbroken car, all I’m saying is that the new one is pretty great.
So what changed exactly? I chose to actually live my life. I decided that being miserable in order to avoid judgement from others was not worth it; but that I was.
What is our purpose? A question that we’ve asked ourselves to no avail. Maybe we should start by understanding what purpose is? Is purpose actually preconcieved, or do we decide what we identify with most and create meaning through our values?
Upon first hearing the word “minimalism” I was astonished that any person could sacrifice such a large amount of belongings. From the confined space of my bedroom, with possessions stacked high against each of the four walls, I felt scared. Scared about minimalism? Yes.
When dealing with the challenges of life while also building a family and future how does one find the ideal metaphorical rhythm needed to both grow as a unit and exceed personal goals?
The little hints she’d been dropping were not nearly as subtle as she was intending, but I amused her, playing along that maybe one day we’d say “I do”. Little did she know the ring was something that I’d scouted out for the last couple months.
